Nexus Research Press — Open Access Scientific Publishing

Press & Media

Nexus Research Press issues press releases for selected research of exceptional public significance, broad policy relevance, or high media interest. This page provides guidance for science journalists, institutional communications officers, and public information officers working with NRP content.

Registering for press releases

Science journalists and institutional press officers may register to receive NRP press releases by emailing press@nexusresearchpress.com with their name, organisation, and the subject areas they cover. Registration is free and confers access to embargoed content under the NRP embargo policy.

Embargo policy

All NRP press releases and pre-publication materials shared with registered media are issued under strict embargo until the time of online publication. The embargo time is stated clearly on every press release. Breach of embargo will result in immediate removal from the NRP press list and may be reported to the recipient's employer or professional body.

For institutional press offices

Authors whose manuscripts have been accepted are encouraged to alert their institutional press office at the point of acceptance. NRP editorial offices are happy to coordinate timing and messaging of joint press releases. Please make contact no later than five working days before the scheduled publication date.
