Advanced Geoscience Research Letters issues press releases for selected research articles of exceptional public interest or policy relevance. Press releases are coordinated with institutional communications offices and are issued under embargo to registered science journalists ahead of publication.
Science journalists and public information officers wishing to receive AGRL press releases may register by contacting the editorial office. Please include your name, organisation, and the beat areas you cover.
All AGRL press releases and pre-publication materials shared with media are issued under strict embargo until the time of online publication. Breach of embargo by any recipient will result in immediate removal from the AGRL press list. Embargo times are stated clearly on every press release and in all email communications.
Authors whose manuscripts have been accepted for publication in AGRL are encouraged to inform their institutional press office at the time of acceptance. The AGRL editorial office is happy to coordinate the timing of institutional and journal press releases to maximise coverage. Please contact us as soon as possible after receiving an acceptance decision, providing the anticipated publication date.
All press enquiries should be directed to: Contact the AGRL editorial office.
A searchable archive of AGRL press releases is available from the editorial office on request. Highlights from recent issues include research on geogenic hydrogen in West African cratons, compound drought–heatwave mechanisms, pan-Arctic sediment flux trends, and Antarctic ice-sheet grounding-line dynamics.
